Text From Source: Hi Chris, Mary Ann Lester was daughter of Edward (1811) who died 27/05/1842 of Brain Fever aged 1 year 10 months death informed by Edward Lester (father) There was also an Edward Lester born 1838 who died of a fever 12/11/1860 death informed by Edward Lester father Rosanna Lester (Cockayne) died 15/02/1907 from pneumonia death informed by C.E. Lester - son So he was alive though not at the same address as Thirza in 1901 - I'll have a search through 1901 census to see if I can find him, though I have newspaper cuttings from 1900 about soldiers away at the war, so he MAY have been enlisted!
