1 | "Patricia Barton (Nee Lester)". Text From Source: Rosanna's birth certificate shows dob 13/03/1840 mother Sarah Cockayne - formerly Dukes armed with this infomration I have traced their marriage through IGI as: Thomas Cockayne (Cookayne) married Sarah Dukes 22/07/1830 at St Martins Birmingham and Sarah Dukes christened 5/07/1802 at Saint Phillips, Birmingham father Robert Dukes mother Elizabeth The marriage is almost certainly our couple and the date of birth for Sarah ties in with the census information, so I think it almost 100% certain that she was born in Birmingham and married there and then moved to Bloxwich, though the information on the census states born in Pelsall. |
